Delete your account
Permanently remove your SmartBürokratie account and the data associated with it. The same option is available in the app under Me · Account · Delete account.
Account deletion cannot be undone. Once requested, your data is removed from our servers within 24 hours and cannot be recovered.
How to delete your account
Open SmartBürokratie
Launch the app on your iPhone or Android device.
Go to your profile
Tap the Me tab in the bottom navigation, then choose Account → Delete account.
Confirm the request
Read the warning carefully and confirm. Your data will be removed within 24 hours.
What gets removed
Deleted permanently
- Your account & sign-in (Google, Apple, email)
- AI assistant chat history
- Saved guides & checklist progress
- City & language preferences
- Submitted feedback & support tickets
Retained (anonymised)
- Aggregated, non-personal usage analytics
- Records required by German tax & commercial law
Email us before deleting your account and we'll send you an export of your chat history and saved guides within 7 days, in line with your GDPR rights.
Need help?
If you can't access the in-app option or have any questions, our support team will handle the deletion for you.
